Project: LOA Eco Container Lounge

Location: City Park, New Orleans, LA. USA

Clients: Voodoo Music Experience

EXECUTION: Ideation, design & development for The Eco-Shipping Container Lounge, a concept both unique and eco-friendly. Created as a temporary structure to house the festivals VIP lounge and to establish a border from the public area, the Container Lounge function as a concession stand for both the public and VIP areas while boasting a remarkable viewing platform. The challenge was to create something inspiring, prefabricated with quick assembly on site, incorporating the originality of the art installations yet unifying the natural surrounds of the City Park. 

RETROSPECTIVE: The project has earned the Live Design Award for temporary installations and has been featured in several publications, among them New Container Architecture, Green Building & Design, and Architecture View.
